Stonehenge

On the 21st of december me and my friends decided to go to Stonehenge and watch the sunrise as it was Winter Solstice, which is essentially the shortest day of the year. It was a special day as the Sunrise could be seen through one of the pillars of the circular structure. We had to wake up at 5am and leave to get there in time; we expected the crowds to be low as it was ‘the end of the world’  but when we got there the crowds were soo overwhelming. It took quite a while to even find a parking space and ended up leaving my car on the side of the main road where all the other people left their cars. LOL :P.  It was all worth it when we finally saw the beauty of the Winter Solstice Sunrise and I even managed to get a few shots. It was a treat for the eyes :)
